Genesis Interoperability Module - GIM
The Genesis Interoperability Module, also known as GIM, is the interface which allows the transmission of Vital Record information directly from a hospital and/or OB/GYN Electronic Medical Record System into the Genesis Vital Record modules without the need to re-key the information. GIM can be utilized by any user, regardless of whether they utilize Genesis’ software or not.

Our History
Since 1987, Genesis Systems, Inc. has been focused on developing highly capable enterprise-level electronic vital records solutions for use by the Department of Health and local health departments throughout the nation. Its system users include the general public, hospital staff, physician’s, funeral directors, coroners, Department of Health, local government staff, celebrants and court system users. Genesis is the only US vendor of Vital Record systems to have a 99% business concentration in Vital Records and related systems. Genesis has been involved in vital records since inception and is the originator of the Electronic Birth Certificate (EBC) in the US.
