WebVR
A Web based Vital Records core product (WebVR ä) that is designed to meet an industry's specific requirements:
· Access the WebVR ä System via the Internet with a browser independent (B-Free ä) interface.
· Control software versions through automatic live updates.
· Facilitate data entry through online help screens and prompts that assist users with data entry and business processes. Includes user defined field help and context-sensitive help menus.
· Enforce data integrity through instantaneous edit checks (Fast-fire ä) and customer maintained edit rules that ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
· Utilize look-up tables and pick lists during data entry that auto-populate related data fields thereby ensuring data consistency.
· Track the status of each data entry field individually with our Visual Cueing (Viz-e-Q ä) concept. Allows mandatory fields to be left blank during data entry and tracks those fields that still need to be resolved, including the ‘firing' of edit checks before the record will be considered complete and acceptable for filing.
· Select options from a drop-down list or retrieve a response from a library table by typing in more than just the first letter of the entry (MindsEye ä).
· Utilize user-friendly graphical data entry screens that can be navigated with point and click devices. Includes the added capability to perform data entry with only the use of the keyboard (AllBoard ä).
· Control data entry by centrally maintaining library tables used during data entry. Library tables include: City, County, State/Foreign Country, Zip Code, Birth Attendant/Certifier/Pediatrician, Death Physician, Health Care Facility, Funeral Director, Funeral Home, Cemetery, Crematory, Marriage Officiants, Circuit Courts, and Local Registrars.
· Protect unauthorized access through User Security, which includes user profiles and password maintenance and the assignment of business processes that a particular user has authority to perform.
·
Add your own data fields through the Ad Hoc screen generator (DataFlex ä).
DataFlex ä allows customers to capture additional data elements during data entry. Additional data elements can be labeled, formatted for length and defined for allowable characters. Edits are provided on individual data elements.
· Report or create export files using the Ad Hoc reporting feature (DragIt ä). DragIt ä allows users to design reports specifically for their needs from within the WebVR ä system. A user can drag-and-drop report data elements and define filters for reporting criteria. Report outputs can be printed, and/or saved in an ASCII format for easy import into Word, Excel, or other similar programs.
· Support third-party reporting tools by using the built-in Ad Hoc reporting feature to create user generated data. Export vital event data to an ASCII file.
· Manage workflow with process specific work queues for unresolved issues and review cycles.
- Search for a vital event record via one or more data elements, including date criteria, wildcard and partial matches. Capability to view electronically filed vital event records.
· Establish a ‘guest' account for public users, such as a genealogical researcher. Potential for the ‘guest' user to have limited access to the legal portion of certain vital event records.
· Assign codes automatically in support of the demographic and geographic data elements. The software includes the capability for manual coding of these data elements when unable to automatically assign the appropriate code.
· Identify duplicate vital event records during the registration process.
· Interface with third-party address validation programs that include the capability to append census tract, block group, latitude and longitude to a vital event record.
· Track user access with audit trails that recorded each time a vital event record is added, viewed and printed.
· View the legal correction audit trail of modifications to a vital event record, including user ID, modification date, modification reason, documentation provided to support the modification and the previous and current values of modified data elements. The software automatically assigns a unique amendment number and date for each amendment.
· Modify system parameters that allow the user to identify the facility, Visual Queuing colors, Fee structures and Registrar Electronic Signature.
· Supports multiple printer trays. The user can configure and direct hard copy outputs to specific printers and/or printer trays.
· Integrate Genesis' fee and issuance (WebFEE ä) module with any other Vital Event module.
· Store related documents with an imaging interface that allows for scanning, saving and printing of ancillary documents associated with vital event records.
· Convert historical data with conversion programs or key-in historical data from paper certificates via a back data entry process.
· Train users with an on-line training module, which incorporates actual WebVR ä system logic along with a separate training database.
