Genesis is seeking a candidate with 2-5+ years experience in large scale Oracle application development. The ideal candidate will have extensive Oracle knowledge including database design, configuration, performance tuning, etc. In addition, the candidate will have development experience in a .NET and VB6 environment, including programming, component building, version control, etc. Experience should include:
Oracle Database (Configuration, Tuning, etc)

Experience with Interdev, Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML, CGI, ASP is a plus. Database backends include Access, SQL Server, Sybase and Oracle.
All candidates should have an understanding and knowledge of enterprise networking, distributed systems technologies/methodologies and leading technologies including Client/Server architectures, object-oriented programming languages and tools, distributed database management systems, groupware, as well as the latest networking and communications technologies. Management experience is a plus.
The successful candidate will help to identify business requirements, determine specifications, develop, assist, modify and expand the system through analysis and programming. As well as determine system specifications and record layouts develop procedures to process information by means of the recommended platform and prepare logic flow charting and business rules. Personnel also analyze business requirements in terms of system and programming requirements and modify the systems' design to meet our client's needs.
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS, or in related discipline and at least two+ years experience in programming and analysis in a team environment is desired. Requires proficiency in higher level programming languages and good verbal and written communication skills.
